We can offer you only our sincerest apologies for the lack of correspondence coming from our camp. We've been locked away for a good few months recording our second album in Norfolk with our wonderful producer Jonny Cole-Matthews and his faithful sidekick Adam King.
Everything we've done so far is sounding really positive, and we're more excited about this record than anything we've ever done before, even more so than playing at the same festival as N-Dubz...which i'm sure you can all gather is the peak. The record itself is sounding huge, and we've had help from some of the most wonderful musicians and friends we could ever hope to have, with our buddies Imo and Kayleigh on strings, Colin on marimbas and such and Dave and Martin on Brass, aswell as the wonderful Bertie from Cakes And Ale on accordion. It's been a pleasure to work with such accomplished players, and it can only benefit us and the album as a whole.
Anyways, we're looking to be releasing it in January of next year, with a whole load of new things including merch and artwork and all those goodies. Should be a good year. In the meantime, we're surfacing from our pit to play some gigs in October to shake off the rust:
October 14th, The Firebug, Leicester
October 20th, The Milo, Leeds
October 21st, The Milo, Leeds
October 22nd, The Milo, Leeds (not a typo-it's a 3 night residency)
October 25th, The Arts Centre, Norwich
October 27th, Live Lounge, Blackburn (16+)
October 28th, The Hope, Brighton
Love, The Kabeedies xxx
